Elaine is still obsessed with me
My brain is broken.

That's why i've been gone from here for a little while. Last Tuesday, i went to the Emergency Room, and it turns out i have a cyst around my brain stem that is mostly affecting lower brain functions. My coordination is horrible as is my speech, but i can play poker okay...

Anyway, i have surgery tomorrow morning in which they'll either (hopefully) remove the cyst or drain it and add a shunt to keep it drained. Either way, it's supposed to be fairly trivial, as brain surgery goes, albeit at a hard to reach spot.

The curious can see [info]tooaquarius's LJ for any updates.

Dude. Best Wishes.

Remember, while you're on the gurney waiting to be wheeled in to surgery is not the best time to engage the priest on the subject of abortion rights...

Damn you.

That means I need to post details about your brain... Small task, I think I'm up for it.

And what does that say about the poker?

Uncool and un-smartassy - hugs.

And to think, I was just playing with a plastic brain a little while ago. It divided neatly into quarters, and had a dangly, wobbling pituitary gland, and lived in a bottom-half-of-a-head-shaped glass dish. I wish I owned one.

I don't read LJ for weeks on end and check in on you to find this post. Well shit. What they all said before me and, em, I always knew you weren't quite right in the head.

:-P

xoxo

Will be thinking of you.

Good luck. Here is a scary baby icon just for you.

You mean you aren't crooning and softshoeing your way through life in your usual Bing-o-phile style?

I'm glad it's minor. I'm glad you're the kind of person who goes and gets these things checked out.
