Your name in print

Houston's Planned Parenthood decided to run a full-page signature ad in the Houston Chronicle on January 22 to commemorate the 30th anniversary of Roe v. Wade. Unfortunately, they came up with this idea at the last minute and still need ~1300 signatures. Originally, they were asking for $10 a name, but now that Operation Rescue finally paid $15K of the over one million dollars they owe from Operation Rescue-National v. Planned Parenthood of Houston and Southeast Texas.

Here's what the ad will say:

Roe v. Wade was a defining moment in our nation's history. In affirming the right of women to make personal childbearing decisions without fear of death or injury, Roe gave women the opportunity to participate more fully in the economic and social life of our nation. On this 30th anniversary, we call upon our leaders and this community to stand with us in renewing our commitment to the fundamental human rights Roe v. Wade represents.
If you're willing to have your name printed please e-mail me (with your first and last names if i don't know them) or Planned Parenthood. If you'd like to make a donation while you're at it, you can do so at their website. But mostly we need names and we don't even care if you're from Houston.

Thank you for your support.
